Many people visit the Penn Station to view its Art Deco structure. Newark also has Branch Brook Park which was the first park in the United States. It also housed the world’s largest fountain but because of the shortage of water in the park the fountain was kept non functional for a long period of time. The park is also famous for its many cherry trees.

Newark is also home to one of the main airports serving New York, with flights daily from all over the world. A 30 minute journey by bus train or car and you are in the heart of New York. Many travelers opt to hire a car from Manhattan on the last day of their New York trip to drive out and visit the outlet malls and drop the car off at Newark airport to catch their flight. The cost is roughly the same as the Taxi and gives you a lot more flexibility on your final day.
